Each of the short videos in this series looks at how sound alters what we see. From real to imagined sound, the juxtaposition of the visual to the aural is quite fascinating, and each artist has a unique way of interpreting this concept.
And in addition to the video collection, we’ll be featuring the live work of Bay-Area computer musician and video artist, Sarah Howe. She’ll be on the ground level, manipulating recordings from acoustic instruments while emphasizing the beautifully messy textures of low fidelity source material.
It’ll be awesome. Don’t miss this show!
