Projecting onto the massive urban canvas, the Great Wall will explore color and light manipulation in video through a curated set of high-octane videos and three real-time video performers.
VJ Rainbow Puddle and Jeremy Rourke will each take their turn at illuminating the Wall with their unique sets and Tim Thompson’s Space Palette will be on the sidewalk of West Grand for the audience to try their hand at light and color manipulation.

The Space Palette is an interactive installation – a musical and graphical instrument that lets you play music and paint visuals simultaneously by waving your hands in the holes of a wood frame
“It’s like finger-painting with three-dimensional mousepads in mid-air, letting you orchestrate your own symphony of sound and color,” says Thompson.
It will be set up and available for anyone to use, and the visual results of their hand-waving will be displayed on the Great Wall in realtime.”
Be there!
