Call for Entries: About Oakland, By Oakland

The Great Wall is seeking submissions for the 2nd Annual About Oakland By Oakland

Who Can Submit: Short-film makers / video artists living or working in Oakland (and the surrounding areas) OR short-film makers / video artists who have created a film about our town 

What We’re Looking For: Dynamic, short films or video pieces (moving imagery only) from the talented artists in our communities. The subject of the film does not need to be specifically about Oakland. We’re interested in what the artists of Oakland are creating, observing and saying through beautiful moving imagery.

How to Submit: Send a link to your film on the web to thegreatwallofoakland@gmail.com. Include your name, location, title of the film and running time of the film.

Other Specs: All submissions must be under 7 minutes in length, contain moving imagery (no still images) and be appropriate for all ages (no sex, violence, political propaganda, advertising, or any derogatory images / words). Please send one film per email. Entire websites will NOT be reviewed. Note: If you recently submitted your film to Homegrown, it will be automatically reviewed for this screening. Please do not resubmit the same film.

Very Important Submission Deadline: Monday, October 22, 2012 at 5pm

Show Date: November 2, 2012 from 8-11pm on the Great Wall of Oakland
